The Salmān al-Fārisī Formation Track
A 56-week classical Islamic formation program for adult new Muslims. From the shahāda to intellectual confidence. Built on the same five-discipline sequence the classical tradition has always used.
The Gap Every Mosque Community Knows
Every mosque that welcomes new Muslims faces the same problem: the convert takes the shahāda, attends a few introductory classes, and then — what? Introductory programs cover the five pillars, the six articles of faith, and halal and haram basics. None of them provide what classical Islamic formation actually requires: a sequenced, coherent encounter with the full intellectual architecture of the tradition.
The Salmān al-Fārisī Formation Track closes that gap. It takes the new Muslim through the same five-discipline sequence that classical Islamic scholars have always used — not because it is a nice idea, but because that sequence is the sequence the tradition built for a reason.
Why Salmān al-Fārisī?
Salmān al-Fārisī was the first famous revert in Islamic history. Born in Persia, he spent decades searching for truth — traveling from Zoroastrianism through Christianity to Islam, guided by scholars who pointed him toward the Prophet ﷺ. His story is the story of intellectual formation: a person who did not stop until he found the full architecture of what he believed, and then gave everything to it.
The program is named for him because that is what it asks of every participant: not to accept Islam as a list of beliefs to memorize, but to understand it as the tradition that carries them.
